Job Description
About the Team:
Worldpay from FIS has an expanding footprint on a global Level. We are adding new valued customers on a daily basis and the Credit Team plays an essential role ensuring the initial and ongoing credit worthiness of our customers.
As a Credit Underwriting Analyst, you'll be given your own portfolio of work, and will have the opportunity to work with multi-million $ businesses, along with various stakeholders both internally and externally to carry out assessments on Worldpay from FIS potential or existing customers. What will you be doing:
You will undertake quality credit risk assessments to establish initial and ongoing creditworthiness of Worldpay from FIS customers. Working through caseloads at a fast pace, you will complete financial analysis demonstrating both insight and understanding across financial statements and relevant non-financial information.
You'll be making recommendations from this, referring to Worldpay policies for approval via the appropriate sanctioning authority. Communicating your decisions/rationale in a clear and concise manner, you'll proactively engage with Worldpay from FIS business to find solutions to maximise proposition approval rates.
Essentially you'll be looking to achieve results with the rest of the team on application approvals, contract negotiations and highlighting risks where needed.
What will you bring:
We are looking for a bright and ambitious individual who wants to further their career and take on additional responsibility. You will have 3+ years' experience already within Credit Risk in a B2B environment, and will be comfortable being responsible for your own work load while prioritising day to day tasks when needed.
An excellent communicator, you will be comfortable in presenting credit proposals to senior internal stakeholders, and in conducting negotiations with customers at all levels. You are capable of writing large credit memos, of working independently, but also you like working within a global team and are keen to help our customers. You will enjoy a challenge and will work well under pressure to strict timelines.
