Join our Finance team as a Credit Control Assistant and play a vital role in keeping our business running smoothly. This is a 15- month maternity cover where you’ll be at the heart of our operations, ensuring every bank transaction is processed accurately and on time. Your responsibilities as a Credit Control Assistant will be:
- Reconcile and post payments from bank statements
- Identify customer accounts and allocate payments correctly
- Work with the Credit Control team to resolve queries and missing remittances
- Balance accounts and transfer funds between banks when needed
- Allocate invoices and write-offs as requested
- Support the Accounts team with ad-hoc tasks
About you
- Previous experience in a Finance Assistant role or studying towards a finance qualification
- Minimum 5 GCSEs (or equivalent), including Maths & English
- Strong analytical skills and a natural problem solver
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and proactive
