COUNTRY GROWTH LEAD (STARLINK)
Starlink, our revolutionary satellite constellation, will deliver low-latency broadband internet worldwide. You will join the Growth team that is responsible for launching, growing, and improving Starlink around the world.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
You will be accountable for Starlink's growth and success in select regions, identifying and removing barriers to growth, championing user experience in each country, and driving initiatives to accelerate adoption.
- Single person responsible for Starlink growth in select regions, identifying and prioritizing blockers and levers for growth
- Set vision, develop strategy, and manage a budget around consumer growth strategies and tactics to enable us to accelerate growth
- Adapt localized operations to optimize new market launches and long-term business success (new sales channels, logistics, customer support, etc.) to achieve revenue and profit goals
- Deeply understand the customer and Starlink experience in the country, elevating insights to drive localized improvements to the customer experience
- Develop and maintain weekly deployment forecasts based on a detailed understanding of demand and supply constraints
- Identify and drive continuous process improvements to increase efficiency of our operations
- Champion key strategic consumer-focused projects end-to-end by working cross-functionally with operations and engineering teams
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree
- 2+ years of work experience in go-to-market, growth, international operations, consulting, software, or other technical disciplines.
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- 1+ years of experience in early and growth stage startups working with lean teams
- Proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Demonstrated track record of cross-functional stakeholder management and leadership through influence
- Fluent in English and one of the following languages: French, German, Italian, Spanish, Japanese, Portuguese, and/or Bahasa Indonesian
- Structured problem solving - take on ambiguous problems and drive to a solution efficiently
- Experience leading complex operational and strategic initiatives
- Project management - coordinate efforts with stakeholders to manage tight timelines
- Proficiency in SQL or willingness to learn
- Distinctive business judgment and communication skills
- Bias to action and willingness to experiment rapidly
- Experience working in telecom or technology industries
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Willingness to travel as needed
- Must be available to work extended hours and weekends as needed
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range:
Country Growth Lead: $90,000.00 -$115,000.00/per year
Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.
Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at SpaceX. You may also be eligible for long-term incentives, in the form of company stock, stock options, or long-term cash awards, as well as potential discretionary bonuses and the ability to purchase additional stock at a discount through an Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
