Our IT organization supports critical business processes and infrastructure globally. Within IT, Core IT Services plays a vital role by delivering mission-critical services such as networks, data centers, and IT platforms. We are looking for a Core IT Cost Management Manager to elevate cost management practices, ensuring the right investments for continuity and innovation in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Role and responsibilities
As Core IT Cost Management Manager, your mission is to drive scalable, automated cost management solutions for Core IT, ensuring strategic investments and continuous improvement. You will leverage automation, data analytics, and cloud-based cost management to optimize cost transparency and enable agile decision-making in a dynamic, high-demand environment.
Key responsibilities are:
- Lead automation initiatives: Implement automated cost tracking, reporting, and forecasting using IT financial management tools and cloud-native platforms.
- Strategic cost-analysis: Utilize advanced analytics, machine learning, and RPA (Robotic Process Automation) to enhance cost allocation, forecasting, and KPI dashboards.
- Process optimization: Drive process improvements through workflow automation, integration of ITSM (IT Service Management) systems, and adoption of DevOps practices for financial operations.
- Cloud cost management: maintain cloud consumption models, leveraging FinOps principles for cost optimization and transparency across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
- Reporting & governance: Automate monthly financial reporting (Capex & Opex), budget planning, and cost center management using tools like SAP, EasyBuy, and Power BI.
- Stakeholder engagement: Serve as the automation and cost management SME (Subject Matter Expert) for IT business partners, procurement, and Core IT leadership.
- Continuous improvement: Embed new capabilities such as AI-driven forecasting, digital workflows, and governance automation to ensure ongoing efficiency and compliance.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Core IT Executives, Directors, to deliver actionable insights and automated reporting for strategic decision-making.
Education and experience
- Master’s degree in Business Economics, Business Administration, Computer Science, or equivalent.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, preferably in a large multinational environment.
- Experience with project/program financials, IT (preferably infrastructure), and change management.
- Knowledge of SAP, EasyBuy, and MS Office; Lean Six Sigma (Orange/Green Belt) is a plus.
- ITIL and PMP or PRINCE2 certifications are an advantage.
