Job Description
We are currently looking for a new colleague to join the Control Room Office of the Ignitis Renewables team, where you’ll be responsible for monitoring and controlling various systems, equipment, and processes critical to our operations. You will contribute to green and secure energy ecosystem creation by:
- Monitoring and controlling systems and equipment using control panels and computer systems
- Responding to alarms and alerts, investigating issues, and taking corrective action
- Reporting on wind turbine farm efficiency and maintaining operational logs
- Implementing emergency procedures to ensure safety and compliance
- Communicating effectively with team members and external agencies
- Performing basic maintenance, troubleshooting equipment, and staying updated on industry practices.
Qualifications
- Higher/College/Vocational education or equivalent (engineering preferred)
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to work in shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong technical aptitude and familiarity with control systems
- Proficiency in using computer systems and data analysis tools
- Proficiency in English and Lithuanian.
Would be an advantage:
- Electrical education background or vocational training focused on electrical systems
- Experience in a control room operator or related role, such as dispatcher
- Prior experience in the renewable energy sector.
