Our Opportunity:

Chewy is looking for a Video Production Manager to join our in-house creative team in DFW Studio and work side-by-side with passionate pet lovers. The ideal candidate will partner and report to our Studio Operations Manager to manage our PDP Video campaigns. This position will support all projects and processes across video productions, including collaboration with creative teams, videographers, post-production, and studio project management team. A successful candidate will have a strong production background and a deep understanding of working within the PDP Video environment- project management skills needed to balance competing priorities and deadlines. They will balance quality with scale, building and managing production schedules that deliver against creative style guidelines.

What you'll do: 

  • Partner with the Studio Operations Manager to execute the video production process from concept stages through delivery.
  • Work closely with creatives, video producers, project management, studio teams, and creative management to deliver high-production video content.
  • Manage all aspects of video production from concept through final delivery, ensuring that all elements conform to the core tenants of the specific video format and the creative vision. This is a hands-on position that includes executing creative direction, establishing procedures, building production workflows, and ensuring consistency across multiple projects and categories.
  • Analyze creative briefs to recommend production approaches and timeline by identifying opportunities and driving efficiencies by way of continuous process improvement
  • Prepare and actively manage schedules from pre-production through post-production completion.
  • Partner with the business and Inventory team to obtain SKU's for production
  • Review asks from the business to assess project feasibility, projections, and scheduling resources.
  • Analyze and manage shared resources, workspaces, project setup, freelance resources, and deliverables
  • Monitor and push for timely approval processes with internal Stakeholders. 
  • Keep track of feedback, revisions, and project communications while reducing turnaround time by improving processes and resource proficiency.

What you'll need:

  • 5+ years of experience in video + photo production, preferably with a mix of both production company and PDP high volume photography studio
  • The ideal candidate is comfortable and thrives in the ambiguity and change that comes with the production.
  • You are a leader and a strong team player.
  • Solid working knowledge of both video and photo production
  • Highly organized and love to craft efficiencies to streamline processes further
  • Comfortable with data and metrics
  • Critical thinker and approach setbacks with solutions
  • Communicating effectively one-on-one and in a large group
  • Experience working under tight deadlines
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Exceptionally well organized and detail-oriented.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects simultaneously.
  • Openness to feedback and new ideas.
