GoodRx is seeking a Pr-Editor to join the video production team and create engaging health video content. The ideal candidates must be both a technician of their craft as well as creatively inspired to bring to life topics of a more factual nature including health, healthcare access and health policy. We are looking for someone who has a knack for presenting complex medical concepts and making it digestable, engaging and interesting visually for the viewer. The right candidate will have an interest in healthcare endemic content and health policy and have proven experience at elevating video content to the next level.
The production team consists of a group of editorial roles, including health journalist, writers, editors and producers. The Video Producer/Editor (Preditor) are responsible for developing, shooting/editing and archiving material. Candidates should have a working knowledge of a server based-digital media workflow. You must be able to take direction and be capable of working in a fast-paced editing environment
Responsibilities
- Ability to work collaboratively with other editors, producers and writers, as well as independently
- Tenacity to always look for ways to elevate content through multimedia formats
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and pivot and shift gears quickly as needed
- Demonstrated ability to be proactive and anticipate needs
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience working in video content production; publishing/editorial environment preferred
- Proficiency in non-linear editing with Adobe Creative suite (including Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator etc.).
- Experience in DaVinci is a plusQuick technical editing skills
- Advanced animation and motion GFX design skills
- Has a keen eye towards color correction and image quality
- Firm understanding of the entire production process, from pitch, booking, shooting and publish
- Proficiency filming with a variety of video, lighting and audio equipment and formats
