Summary:

Reporting directly to the Director of Multimedia, the Video Content Creator will be involved in shooting, editing, and producing video content. They will work to bring a creative vision to life, and through their work, create professional video projects for a large real estate portfolio. They will be involved in and contribute to all aspects of shooting, editing, video production and the latest video and web/mobile/broadcast technologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Under the direction of the Director of Multimedia, support the production, direction, shooting and editing of professional video projects
  • Manage technical decisions including lighting, camera angles, shoot locations, and audio needs
  • Conduct on-camera interviews with Bedrock team members, tenants and others, as needed
  • Produce videos within established visual and process guidelines and timetables
  • Manage the video library of events, properties, tenants and other b-roll
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the latest video tools, trends and technology
  • Propose creative video project ideas and story ideas
  • Work with the Social Media team on the best strategies/practices for disseminating video
  • Train creative team members and others to help advance their video skills
  • Interact directly with tenants, various members of the Bedrock team and members of the public
  • Set up live feeds and live stream capabilities, as needed
  • Based on anticipated or desired brand/shoot development, create and capture still photos to enhance the photo library
  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications:

  • Bachelors' degree or equivalent education, training, and experience
  • Approximately 3 years of video content creation experience preferred
  • Degree in Television Production preferred
  • Extensive knowledge of video codecs, compositing, transcoding, and overall video formatting for web, mobile devices and broadcast
  • Complete understanding of elements such as appropriate lighting, shooting angles, camera placement, audio needs, locations, use of camera movement, and interviews
  • Creative, outside the box thinking and problem solving
  • Demonstrated ability to use music and graphics effectively to add energy and excitement to content
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Proactive and positive attitude with a resourceful approach to project issues
  • Ability to meet urgent deadlines, budget time, and juggle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Preferred experience or knowledge with Blackmagic cinema cameras and cine lens kits
