Who You Are: 

The Social Media content creator for TikTok will oversee the trend forecasting, ideating, scheduling, producing, creating, and crowdsourcing of video content for C4 Energy’s TikTok account. This person will be responsible for producing content that supports all major brand efforts & campaigns, reach out to and maintain relationships with creators for both organic or paid content opportunities, strategizing and tracking channel growth, and be hyper-aware of the ever changing and most up-to-date trends happening on the platform. The Social Media Content Creator must have a passion for community building, storytelling, customer voice and above all have a deep understanding and passion for the platform and what it means to the C4 brand.

What You're Good At:

  • Identifying relevant, emerging and brand-appropriate creators on the platform to collaborate on organic and paid opportunities
  • Creating and maintaining creator relationships to build a diverse, inclusive, and creative C4 Energy community on the platform
  • Exploring the app for new creators to work with or create one off S+D moments for
  • Creating relevant and engaging original content for C4’s channel reacting to current trends and creating sharable moments on the platform
  • Creating film and edit together social friendly compilations, recaps and original content to share on c4’s social platforms
  • Establishing framework for an expanding system of harvesting c4-related content to share on c4’s social platforms - UGC, IGC, and testimonial based content
  • Ensuring C4’s TikTok channel is being updated regularly per platform recommendations to remain relevant, compliant, and best in class
  • Strategizing ways to continue to grow and evolve the platform with the rest of the team
  • Tracking all channel growth through weekly and monthly reporting and recaps
  • Aligning with dual track marketing messages as well as reactionary messages to reinforce brand initiatives
  • Working with cross-functional teams as-needed for influencer-based campaigns and monthly brand themes.
  • Partnering with Performance team to boost organic content from C4’s TikTok and ensure maximum distribution lead efforts are being taken with all content
  • Identifying platform campaigns, trends, and other brand-appropriate opportunities

What You Contribute: 

  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience as an editor for brand social media, video/film and/or multimedia productions.
  • Must have a portfolio (or active accounts) showcasing videography and editing skills. Show us your chops!
  • An obsession with, and some would say, irresponsible understanding of TikTok
  • Have a robust knowledge of all things pop culture
  • Ability to identify and quickly react to trends and create brand-appropriate content on the fly
  • Ability and desire to independently create content in-house as well as partner with our expansive network of creators and ambassadors
  • Enthusiasm for the C4 Energy brand and customer is always good to have
  • Exceptional videography and photography skills (DSLR + Mobile)
  • Photoshop skills, Adobe Premiere and Adobe Illustrator skills are a major plus
  • Proficiency in motion graphics, titling, gif creation, graphics and graphic design
  • Proficiency with dubbing, mixing and sound editing gets major bonus points as well!
  • Interest in social platform mechanics and data to drive the right content for C4 audience and customer
  • Ability to work independently, collaboratively and under close direction when needed
  • Have a positive, curious, playful disposition
  • This role has the potential to grow into a wider capacity to support all our brands including our sports nutrition lines based on experience and performance
