A Technical Writer opportunity is currently available at Belcan in Cincinnati, OH. This is a full time, direct job with full benefits.

Principal Responsibilities for a Technical Writer include but not limited to the following:
* Review, edit, develop, and write procedures based on data received from Engineers
* Receive, processes and properly format publication change requests and illustrations
* Ensure consistent terminology, proper English, flow of content, consistency throughout, etc.
* Incorporate publication changes into manuals via arbortext, edits and corrects printing errors
* Review illustrations for accuracy and visual appearance
* Support process improvement activities to streamline procedures and simplify documents
* Interact with engineers and existing clients
* Responsible for all administration, coordination and bookkeeping involved in successfully and promptly publishing manuals
* Maintain records, logs, reports and lists

Requirements needed for role of Technical Writer include:
* Bachelors of Science degree in related field or equivalent work experience
* Some technical, mechanical, or electrical background. Emphasis on writing and editing skills
* Comfortable editing highly technical work instructions and asking questions when unclear
* Proficient in Microsoft Office
* Strong aptitude on MS Word
* Strong attention to detail
* Ability to manage multiple / competing deadlines effectively
* Due to the nature of the work being done all applicants must be U. S. Citizens
