What You'll Do
Socio's Customer department is rooted in the intrinsic motivation to help others find solutions to their challenges. The Customer team owns the charge in Socio's mission to help event planners take their events to the next level. Our team seeks to drive an outstanding experience and sustained value for Socio customers through trust and consulting on Socio products and services. The outcome is increased value, happiness, and renewal of the customer.
As a member of Socio's quickly growing team, you'll partner directly with our Customer Enablement Manager to create engaging learning experiences that enable customers to get the most out of our products. In this role, you'll empower customers to achieve their event goals by developing excellent training content.
The team will manage, enhance and build upon the new Socio Academy. The Academy offers an array of innovative and diverse learning opportunities for Socio customer's professional development and Socio product knowledge.
Responsibilities Include:

  • Create and maintain an extensive collection of knowledge base articles.
  • Work cross functionally with our product team to write product-centric articles before release.
  • Keep customers up to date on Socio's evolving products and features.
  • Review reports from our support team and create documentation for specific customer challenges.
  • Develop in-platform tooltips and walkthroughs.


Who You'll Work With
Socio's Customer Enablement Team - This team is tasked with creating engaging learning content to help support the needs of our clients. You will work very closely with not only Socio's customers but also with members of the Customer Success, Support and Product teams to deliver the best customer experience possible.
Who You Are
What type of individual will succeed in such an opportunity? Someone who enjoys condensing complex topics down to outcomes-based documentation that enables people to be successful.
Our minimum requirements for this role:

  • A high level of ownership.
  • 2 years of writing experience. Technical Writing preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills up and across organizations.
  • Verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience writing for enterprise customers.
  • Prior knowledge of using customer input or metrics to drive content improvements.
  • Passion for driving cross-team process improvement to benefit documentation quality.
  • The ability to be a strong liaison between technicians and customers.
