Job Description:

Are you ready to be part of a cutting-edge cybersecurity project that will make a huge impact on the security of DOD/Intel community? If you're interested in leveraging and honing your technical writing and reporting skills as a part of a program team that gathers, distills, and provides critical insights into cybersecurity vulnerability assessments of mission-critical government systems, we have the ideal role for you to start your new career path at Parsons!

As part of our team, you'll get to leverage your Technical Writing Skills (while continuing to learn and improve your skills alongside our subject matter experts) to perform comprehensive technical writing tasks within a team of Systems Engineers, Software Engineers, and Intel Analysts supporting DCO (Defensive Cyber Operations) activities. Technical writers get matrixed into Project Teams to perform cyber hygiene and vulnerability assessments on major weapons and space systems.

Required Qualifications:

  • 6 years' experience providing Technical Writing support within System Engineering teams developing system vulnerability assessments and evaluations or
  • 4 years experience and a Bachelor degree in Engineering, Science, Math, or Information Systems
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with latest release of Microsoft Office (or equivalent)
  • Active TS/SCI + Polygraph

Desired Qualifications:

  • Familiarity writing about Space system development, sustainment, and security operations
  • Experience working across multiple projects
  • Understanding of documentation version control

Salary Range:

$79,100.00 - $161,400.00
