Technical Writer (Remote)
The Technical Writer is responsible for developing and maintaining product documentation, to convey clear and effective product details for an optimal end-user experience.
This role will write new help center articles and update existing content like release notes, procedural, conceptual, and reference content based on content guidelines and existing processes for a Help Center hosted in Zendesk. The individual is also required to take screenshots and GIFs for inclusion in the articles. Becoming a subject matter expert is an important aspect of the role in order to create and deliver content in a fast-paced environment.
This individual will support the documentation team and play an active part in Amobee’s go-to-market process.
This role is available in any of our US office locations, remote or hybrid.

Responsibilities
- Write and maintain technical documentation in a timely and qualitative manner on Amobee Products to ensure support for evolving product releases and business needs.
- Understand product features to be able to write the most accurate and relevant documentation.
- Peer content review and support as needed.
- Learn tools and processes that support Amobee’s Help Center.
- Produce content in a variety of formats (e.g., text, visual, gifs).
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience as a technical writer developing customer documentation at a tech or SaaS company
- Experience with content management systems (e.g., Zendesk, Freshdesk, Atlassian Confluence).
- Strong written communication skills and the ability to turn highly technical information into clear, concise, and focussed messaging that’s easy to understand for Amobee’s end users.
- Experience with Zendesk or Freshdesk
- Ability to collaborate with technical subject matter experts to develop content.
Desirable Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in Technical Writing, Communications, Computer Science is desirable.
- Experience with one or more of the following: HTML, XML, CSS, or Javascript.
