As a leading brand in the mental wellness space, the Calm Content team works hard to develop life-changing audio and video content that truly helps people build a habit around mental wellness. As a member of this team, you will be on the ground floor, building an exciting new experience for Calm to assist with personal mindful growth within the workplace. What You’ll Do:
We are looking for an experienced Technical Producer to lead all technical functions for longform, live stream events. This skilled leader will work in close collaboration with the Director, Producers, Post Production Team, Production Managers and cross-functional teams in establishing best practices, developing efficient systems and sourcing world-class production talent to build an ambitious programming slate.
- Design and execute the technical architecture to build out our live programming operations.
- Maintain high-level overview of production division and act as a point of accountability to ensure teams are delivering events on-time and within budget.
- Evaluate systems and recommend project-enhancing efficiencies. Proactively identify and present solutions for potential roadblocks.
- Oversee a team of vendors and production specialists, ensuring quality is consistent with live streaming goals and Calm standards.
- Develop and maintain working relationships with a network of production specialists and vendors to support the initiative.
- Identify and manage project scope work plans and clearly communicate roles, responsibilities and expectations to internal and external team members.
Who You Are:
- 8+ years of relevant production experience, preferably in the live streaming and/or broadcasting space.
- Possess deep knowledge of best practices of production workflows, including studios, switching, broadcasting, and streaming technology.
- Detail-oriented, able to successfully juggle multiple tasks at once.
- Highly organized, efficient and process oriented.
- A growth mindset to constantly develop, adjust and enhance scalable workflows to match the cadence and growth of our programming slate .
- An effective collaborator with a deep passion for storytelling and technology.
