As a Support Content Writer, you’ll author the articles housed in Rivian’s Knowledge Base, a library of support content with both internal and external applications. Internally, Knowledge Base is a rapidly expanding reference tool used by Rivian’s customer-facing teams. Externally, portions of Knowledge Base are visible on our website’s Support Center so that our community has ready access to support articles about Rivian. 

In this role, you’ll immerse yourself in Rivian’s vehicles, business, and programs. You’ll be challenged to distill technical concepts into language that’s informative, engaging, and aligned with our brand voice and ethos. Whether the audience is our support teams or customers themselves, we are always building language to make Rivian more accessible. Our writing should meet Rivian’s community members wherever they are and model how our customer-facing teams can do the same.  


Responsibilities

  • Write support content for Rivian’s Knowledge Base with clarity and precision, and always in Rivian’s brand voice 
  • Partner with subject matter experts across Rivian to collect technical information needed for new Knowledge Base content 
  • Support partner teams that need to develop customer-facing language across different topics, formats, and markets 
  • Maintain and expand a roster of subject matter experts throughout Rivian 

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years support content writing experience 
  • Experience with Salesforce Knowledge Base or similar platform 
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written 
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills 
  • Experience with learning management systems a plus 
  • Experience creating educational or training content a plus 
  • EV, tech, and/or startup experience a plus (but not a requirement) 
  • Ability to travel 20% of time
