This is a hybrid roleAt Bluevine, we pride ourselves on our collaborative culture, which we believe is best maintained through in-person interactions and a vibrant office environment. All of our offices have reopened in accordance with local guidelines, and are following a hybrid model. In-office days will be determined by location and discipline.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a Risk Management Technical Writer at Bluevine, you will craft policies, procedures, and help outline the risk governance structure for Bluevine. In this role, you will work with a variety of stakeholders from operational analysts to executives. You will work with operational leaders to write clear, concise, easily searchable procedures and support articles. This content will cover items across many disciplines including credit risk, fraud risk, and core business operations.  You will also work with executives and leaders across the company to formulate high level policies that will define how Bluevine operates. These policies may be internal facing or external facing such as for investors or Bank partners.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Understand the corporate governance and risk department structure; assess our content needs and develop content strategy and design for fulfilling on those needs
  • Own the content and information architecture standards
  • Partner with others across the organization to develop new processes, documentation, help guides, and client-facing communications
  • Design change management processes and procedures around corporate content and identify how to ensure changes are appropriately governed by internal teams or committees
  • Meet or exceed performance expectations based on key performance indicators like content accuracy, effectiveness, and efficiency
  • Identify, resolve, and or escalate risks that may impact the business
  • Consider downstream implications of policy, procedure, and governance structures and advise on appropriate frameworks
  • Learn what our team does by participating in risk management activities ~10% of the time

WHAT WE LOOK FOR:

  • 4+  year of experience in technical writing preferred; risk governance, training, and operational experience assisting with policy/procedure formulation will also be considered
  • 4+  years of experience supporting or working in a Risk, Compliance, or Banking Operations Team; credit or fraud experience is especially desirable
  • B.A. Degree in English, Journalism, Communications or applicable field is preferred
  • Open to learning from and working with multiple internal teams
  • Have a desire to help small businesses
  • Curiosity - You enjoy seeking information and are comfortable not knowing the answers, but you will work hard to discover the answers
  • A quick thinker and a fast learner
  • Great communication skills
