Description

The Digital Content Strategist leads design, structure, organization and specifications of digital content at Humana. The strategist will plan and manage digital content that is relevant, engaging, findable, usable, persuasive and consistent.

Responsibilities

The Digital Content Strategist will work closely with business stakeholders and subject matter experts (SMEs) and will develop deep knowledge of healthcare subjects and audience information needs. The strategist will lead design and creation of content, working closely with writers, designers, editors and compliance SMEs, as well as a wide range of colleagues across the organization. The Digital Content Strategist will guide the content development, from ideation and discovery research phases, through production and optimization.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• 3+ years of digital experience
• A good theoretical and practical understanding of interaction design as it relates to accessibility, and the ability to explain these features to others in a simple user-friendly way
• Ability to work as part of a team with graphics designers, UI designers, web developers, and others

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's Degree
• Experience in usability testing with people with disabilities
• Familiarity with WCAG 2.0 guidelines
• Work well in a fast-paced team environment with an agile, iterative design process
• Awareness and passion about emerging trends and innovation within UX

• WAH requirements: Must have the ability to provide a high speed DSL or cable modem for a home office. Associates or contractors who live and work from home in the state of California will be provided payment for their internet expense.

• Satellite and Wireless Internet service is NOT allowed for this role.
• A dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information

COVID POLICY

Humana and its subsidiaries require vaccinated associates who work outside of their home to submit proof of vaccination, including COVID-19 boosters. Associates who remain unvaccinated must either undergo weekly negative COVID testing OR wear a mask at all times while in a Humana facility or while working in the field.
