ABOUT THE POSITION

The eCommerce team powers our US and Canada Columbia.com sites as well as our Customer Care Center. From merchandising and marketing to product management and technology, the consumer is at the center of everything we do. And, the eCommerce team is known for the relentless improvement of

the customer experience-always striving for a better, faster, easier experience.

The Site Content & Promotions Manager will help manage execution of the overall eCommerce business strategy for the Columbia websites in the US and Canada. This role will contribute to the growth, profitability, and innovation on our sites through collaboration with multiple cross-functional team leaders and management of direct reports. The individual will achieve results by building strategic site content, promotions, and performance reporting to drive sell-through, engagement, and improved digital brand experience.

HOW YOU'LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE

  • Manages planning and end-to-end execution of site content and promotions, including management of direct reports. Leads and challenges team members to build performance-oriented plans and tactics that deliver a rich consumer experience against the eCommerce site strategy.
  • Ensures deliverables are on-time, on-budget, and meet quality standards and business strategies. Drives creative solutions for any challenges impacting the work, including resources or conflicting priorities, and works with support teams to report and address any technical issues.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to plan activations, oversee launches, and monitor performance of brand marketing campaigns.
  • Communicates strategies, plans, and performance to cross-functional leaders. Manages calendars and reports that will be delivered to stakeholders.
  • Analyzes content, promotion, customer feedback, and related optimization data. Presents key insights and opportunities to stakeholders. Develops action plans to drive continuous improvement in site KPIs and internal workflow.
  • Contributes to forecast planning for conversion, order value, and margin.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


YOU ARE

  • Skilled in Adobe Analytics or other analytics tools, Excel, and PowerPoint; experience with PowerBI is a plus
  • A relentless problem-solver dedicated to creating a positive consumer experience while delivering on business objectives
  • An online shopper, familiar with best practices in eCommerce
  • Extremely detail-oriented and highly organized with a strong sense of urgency
  • Able to adapt in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented enviornment with ability to manage multiple, competing priorities
  • Highly proficient with technical tools and systems and all Microsoft Office applications


YOU HAVE

  • 5 years of professional experience and general proficiency with tools, systems, and procedures required to accomplish the job
  • Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Project management (PMP) or content marketing certificate preferred
  • Established track record of effectively managing cross-functional projects and teams
  • Working experience with Salesforce or other commerce/pricing tools
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Experience Manager or other digital content management system
  • Strong experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders with competing priorities
  • Working knowledge of online marketing strategies and brand management preferred
  • Experience in a B2C, Omni-channel Retail environment
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate and coordinate tasks/projects with key stakeholders across the company
