We're looking for an SEO Content Writer to join the Digital Marketing team in creating the most engaging digital experience on the web. Reporting to the Senior Director of Digital Marketing and Web, you'll be responsible for writing web content to build our SEO presence and overall content strategy. The content delivered needs to align with SailPoint's corporate message, marketing strategy, and specific audience needs -- balancing editorial thinking with a keyword and search engine focus. The ideal candidate must be an exceptional writer, SEO expert, and collaborator who is passionate about developing effective content.

Responsibilities:

• Write content for the website, including but not limited to webpages, assets (infographics, datasheets, video transcripts), landing pages, SEO and social metadata, alt tags, microcopy, etc.
• Edit and optimize existing web pages with a search engine lens.
• Work closely with SEO Content Strategist to produce content defined by keyword research and the customer journey.
• Cross functional collaboration with brand stakeholders to understand brand voice, tone messaging, etc. and how it can be tailored to search.
• Manage the website content in conjunction with the SEO Content Strategist.
• Analyze content to determine what is working and what is not and report out.
• Edit and write copy for website, and address any miscellaneous copy needs not necessarily tied to SEO.

Requirements:

• 5 years' experience in SEO content writing role, preferably within a B2B technology company.
• Excellent written, verbal and communication skills.
• Capable of producing large amounts of content on a quarterly basis.
• Understanding of Google Analytics and experience with some SEO tools such as SEMRush.
• Knowledge in WordPress systems and how to update content in it.
• Experience in enterprise security, preferably cybersecurity. SaaS knowledge a plus.
• Proven leadership traits with ability to work cross-functionally across sales, marketing and product marketing organizations.
• Self-starter and a curiosity for user behavior on the web.

Education: BA/BS or equivalent work experience is required.
