About This Role:

As the PrizePicks SEO Content Specialist, you will lead the development of the PrizePicks written content strategy to (1) improve the PrizePicks Member experience by creating easily digestible resources for support related-information, (2) increase marketing conversions through SEO, and (3) provide an additional source of entertaining and engaging content for existing Members. 

SEO Content Specialist Responsibilities:

  • Planning, writing, editing, and posting daily blog articles

  • Planning and writing resource articles for the PrizePicks Help Center

  • Developing replicable and engaging blog templates for guest writers

  • Creating and managing a list of keywords to target for SEO

  • Tracking SEO and engagement metrics for all blogs and article types

  • Managing the PrizePicks Google Analytics and Google Search Console accounts

  • Improving conversion rates and SEO performance of existing articles, blogs, and landing pages


SEO Content Specialist Requirements:

  • 1+ years of experience in an SEO role

  • Professional content writing experience (copywriting, journalism, blogging)

  • Strong written communication skills

  • Strong understanding of SEO principles and strategies

  • Technical SEO skills

  • Experience with Google Analytics

  • Experience with WebFlow CMS or similar platforms

  • Data-driven and numbers-oriented 

  • Passion for fantasy sports and gaming

  • Professional fantasy sports / sports gaming experience strongly preferred
