Position Purpose: Responsible for conceptualizing and developing a wide range of communication campaigns with a health care focus specific to our military community.

  • Write/edit marketing and education collateral, to include newsletters, emails, flyers, handbooks, promotional items, and website content while maintaining company brand and style guidelines.
  • Produce social media content
  • Provide company-wide editorial support
  • Serve as a liaison between team members and cross-functional partners to ensure consistent messaging and timing
  • Write and edit presentations, training materials, direct mail campaigns, product overviews, etc.
  • Creates copy for member- and provider-focused materials.
  • Manages, writes and edits content for our suite of online products and websites.
  • Writes, edits and distributes external mass email communications.
  • Assist with content strategy, analysis and selection during vendor/partner relationships.
  • Provide editorial guidance, leadership and problem-solving skills to the junior members of the editorial team as well as colleagues from other units.

Qualifications:

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Journalism, Marketing, Communications, English or related field.
  • Minimum three to five years experience in Marketing, Communications or related field.
  • Experience in web development or web content management preferred.
  • Previous managed care or government programs experience a plus.
  • Must have extremely proficient writing, editing and proofreading skills.


This position will be supporting a Federal government contract, therefore it requires U. S. citizenship and proof of favorable adjudication following submission of Department of Defense form SF86 or higher security.
