SAIC, a leading provider of systems development & deployment, targeting & intelligence analysis, systems engineering & integration, and training capabilities and solutions for the Intelligence Community, is seeking creative and dedicated professional to fulfill their career goals and objectives while delivering mission excellence on programs of national importance.
SAIC's Lead Technical Writer will lead a team of writers to research, organize, write, and edit information for small to medium IDIQ opportunities (1 - 10 FTE) and submissions. This Lead Writer will establish the overall organizational layout and editorial standards of the submissions. The creative and organized candidate will work with the Program Manager to develop a consistent, uniform style and language. The Technical Writer will also manage the schedule, assignments, and meetings associated with all narratives and submissions. This is a critical position within the PMO that requires excellent communication skills, a team building personality, and flexibility to adapt change.

Qualifications
Mandatory Skills:
- 6+ years with Bachelor's Degree/ 4+ Year with Master's Degree or more years writing, reviewing, and editing technical resumes or other technical documentation
- Efficiently managing multiple projects to completion
- Organizing and coordinating the activities for a small team of writers
- Significant experience using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be comfortable researching unfamiliar technology well enough to describe and summarize
Optional Skills:
- Understanding of basic IT technologies and terminology
