The role:  

As a Senior Technical Writer, you’ll play a key role in communicating all the exciting updates to our product to both internal and external audiences! You’ll utilize your expertise in developing and maintaining technical documentation to continuously update our internal knowledge base and provide clear overviews of new features in Monthly Product Recaps. In your day-to-day work, you’ll gather information to write internal-facing and external-facing release notes, document procedures, and handle other requests for internal documentation.

What You’ll Do:

• Work closely with the Product team to understand and document upcoming enhancements and upgrades to the product, using a variety of formats (release notes, user guides, one-pagers, implementation guides, etc.)
• Review existing documentation and update as needed; review existing documentation processes and determine ways to increase efficiency and effectiveness for a growing organization
• Ensure consistency in technical documentation quality, voice, and tone
• Attend stakeholder meetings and Product updates to gain a full understanding of the scope of functionality deployed

Who You Are:

• A technical writer with excellent skills in communicating to a variety of audiences and backgrounds
• Someone comfortable working in a growing organization - someone excited about helping to define the scope of the role as we grow
• A self-starter who is comfortable working both collaboratively and independently
• You can prioritize, multi-task, and perform effectively under pressure

Experience You’ll Bring:

• BA/BS in Technical Writing or any related field
• 3+ years of experience as a Technical Writer or performing similar work
• Experience working closely with multiple teams including Product and Engineering, ensuring no communication gaps
