Senior Technical Writer (Remote - US)

We are looking for a Technical Writer to produce high-quality documentation that contributes to the overall success of our products. You will work collaboratively with engineers and product managers to capture and document our products and processes.

What you will do:
- Partner closely with Product & Engineering teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product and documentation requirements
- Partner closely with Product & Engineering managers and directors to define the overall documentation goals and needs from a long-term perspective
- Partner closely with the Technical Program Management team to ensure documentation adoption
- Partner with different stakeholders to collect requirements, develop documentation and drive documentation template approval
- Provide support for multiple scrum teams and other cross-functional teams to ensure the highest documentation quality
- Partner closely with the Technical Writing team members to ensure that our internal documentation website is always up to date and running smoothly
- Develop and maintain high-quality product and technical documentation for internal and external use
- Develop and maintain high-quality tutorials, guides, and manuals for internal and external use
- Develop and maintain the information architecture for Confluence spaces and documentation website
- Develop and run the information sessions for different stakeholders to share the knowledge about documentation and ensure a deep understanding of documentation requirements
- Ensure that all stakeholders are aware of and follow the Technical Writing domain ceremonies and policies
- Take ownership over the blog post publication process ensuring that the posts are released in a timely manner
What you bring to the table:
- 3 - 5 years of experience writing Technical Documentation
- Proven working experience in technical writing of software documentation, including building documentation for REST APIs.
- Experience in setting up and maintaining Confluence spaces from scratch
- Demonstrated experience in translating technical concepts for a larger user audience
- Demonstrated ability in taking initiative and being able to work independently
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Proven experience in creating the flowcharts, component and sequence diagrams for products, features, or processes
- Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and pictures
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Basic familiarity with the SDLC and software development
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, including the capacity to comfortably interface with senior leaders.
- Experience with Swagger, Git, GitLab, Markdown, Hexo, and Confluence is required.
