We build developer tools for Stacks, an open-source network which makes Bitcoin programmable. With Hiro, developers can test and deploy smart contracts, spin up nodes and other server-side resources for scaling, and get access to monitoring and analytics. Our solutions provide developers with the convenience and reliability they need to be successful.

Hiro is funded and backed by more than $85 million from Union Square Ventures, Y Combinator, Lux Capital, Winklevoss Capital, Naval Ravikant, and others.

  • Test-drive Hiro’s products and its features to empathize with developers' needs, challenges, and the onboarding experiences
  • Work with product and engineers to ensure the product documentation is technically accurate and aligns with documentation needs and priorities
  • Work with engineers to gain in-depth understanding of protocol and product intricacies
  • Work with design on concise and helpful illustrations
  • Taking ownership of the documentation strategy and collaborating closely with the internal docs and product growth teams

What We're Looking For

  • 8+ years of experience with technical writing and editing, in particular with developer documentation

An Insider's view of Hiro Systems

What are some things you learned at the company?

Building for a blockchain that utilizes smart contracts has required me to learn many new concepts, technologies, and even new verbiage to communicate with other engineers across our blockchain, blockchain-api, and user experience teams; not to mention other devs and/or users in the Stacks community. I absolutely love being on this journey!

Fara

Software Engineer

What unique initiatives do you have that encourage innovation?

Most problems we encounter don't have playbooks, so we're often figuring stuff out from scratch; we don't get everything right, but we learn and move on.

Diwaker

VP, Engineering

What projects are you most excited about?

My favorite thing about working at Hiro is building technology that I genuinely feel has the potential to make the internet a better and more interesting place.

Tim

QA Engineer
