Job Description

Our Animal Health Marketing team is passionate about bringing our medicines, vaccines, and educational programs to our customers around the world. We are seeking a Senior Omnichannel Content Specialist to inspire, coordinate and publish content across our ecosystem of digital channels.
As part of the Integrated Customer Experience team, you will play a key role in supporting the transformation of the customer engagement and marketing model for Animal Health at our company.
You will achieve this by ensuring the actions of content creators, users and approvers are coordinated and aligned with brand strategy and industry compliance standards to deliver a superior customer experience. This will involve working collaboratively with brand marketing teams, content approval and compliance teams, salesforce users, external vendors/agencies, and ultimately customers to ensure our content is delivering value.
A key objective of your role will be to ensure that the right content is available for the right users at the right time and that the speed of deployment, reusability, and quality of the content we produce are continually improving.
Responsibilities:
A customer-focused view of the world is necessary to succeed in this role. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a deep understanding of the role of content in delivering superior customer experiences across digital, offline, and in person channels across a wide range of media, platforms and channels including by our company's Animal Health sales force.

  • Understand business challenges, manage content creator partners, and collaborate with brand, commercial, insights and analytics team members as a consultant expert to guide the production, curation, publishing, and improvement of content
  • Research, provide solutions & recommendations, ensure alignment, consistency, executional excellence, and compliance. In this role, the individual will be expected to develop and socialize best practices
  • Content planning, production, and publishing across multiple channels to create compelling brand and customer experiences
  • Ensure content follows best practices, meets the needs of our company's core internal and external stakeholders and customers, and adheres to our company's compliance, editorial and brand style guidelines
  • Establish and maintain content and approval workflows, playbook, SOPs, RACIs, and training to ensure speed, efficiency, clear communication, and continuous improvement
  • Understand the role of content across different digital marketing channels and leverage the opportunities each channel presents
  • Collaborate with and influence third parties (e.g., contractors, agencies, associations) and internal team members in the absence of positional authority to agree on content that resonates with target customers
  • Leverage data & analytics to derive insights on content performance and share across brand managers and content creators to drive improvement in content
  • Recommend and execute content test & learn experiments and socialize the learnings
  • Keep up to date on latest content and digital media trends, approaches, and technologies

Education:

  • Required: BA/BS degree in Marketing, Journalism, Creative or Content Production, Business or related fields
  • Preferred: Master's degree


Experience:

  • At least 3 years of directly relevant work experience in content strategy and content management including the use of digital asset management (DAM) systems
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in related functions (including marketing, design, market research, content creation, publishing, consultancy)
  • Experience across a range of content formats and mediums including email, website, mobile, app, video, audio, display, merchandising, virtual meetings, and conferences
  • Experience using popular enterprise digital asset management (DAM) platforms, CRM and content management systems (CMS) - ideally the Veeva suite of technologies including Veeva Promomats, Vault, Engage, Approved Email, CLM files and CRM
  • Working knowledge of SEO principles and content taxonomies and metadata
  • Experience designing and deploying modular content to drive personalization
  • Experience working with external creative agencies
  • Preferred:
    • Experience with Veeva suite of technologies
    • Experience in a healthcare environment or related field
    • Familiar with content approval processes in a regulated environment
    • Evaluation of complex scientific subjects to deliver clear and compelling content
    • Experience using Agile ways of working (Scrum, Kanban)
