Job Overview

As the Senior Manager of Content Strategy, you have a passion for communicatingwith audiences in strategic, inspired, and creative ways, coupled withexperience driving multi-channel marketing campaigns. The person in this roleis a content strategist with expertise in building and developing compellingand cohesive narratives across multiple marketing touch points. You know how toboth amplify and optimize content in a way that helps move our businessforward, connect with our key audiences, increase brand affinity, and drive keymarketing KPIs from engagement to MQLs.

Job Responsibilities

  • Concept and develop creative B2B content-based marketing programs that drive core narratives across the business and marketing channels, ensuring cohesion and impact through the B2B marketing funnel.
  • Craft strategic messaging, storytelling, and content strategy, maintaining an audience-centric view always.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to define, design, and implement messaging strategies across the funnel.
  • Drive the amplification of content through different marketing channels, from web to social to email while also ensuring content optimization, leveraging tools like SEO to make content work hard.
  • Champion the measurement of content optimization, tracking and reporting closely on KPIs and adjusting as needed.
  • Apply user research to development of messaging strategies.
  • Develop close working relationships with other practice areas such as UX, digital, creative, lead generation and public relations.
  • Establish relationships with key stakeholders to ensure messages with the goals of the business.
  • Help the organization understand the role and value of content strategy and what problems it solves for them.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects, across multiple subject matters, at once while adhering to strict deadlines.
  • Turn great ideas into executable strategies.
  • Apply industry-specific compliance standards and regulation to messaging strategy.



Required Experience, Qualifications, and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Creative Writing, Advertising, Marketing, or related field.
  • 10 or more years of experience in developing content-based marketing programs.
  • Three or more years of experience cross-functionally managing projects.
  • Three or more years of product marketing or product public relations experience.
  • A sophisticated appreciation of the intersection of content and design and the part each play in communicating effectively.
  • Experience leading workshops to surface brand voice.
  • PR and/or Brand Agency experience strongly preferred.
  • A passion for the creative process and an understanding of what it takes to go from idea to reality with an exceptional portfolio
