Job description

The Knowledge Management Lead will oversee the assessment, development, and ongoing deployment of Knowledge Management (KM) at IQVIA . This individual will be expected to establish a new standard of Knowledge Management at IQVIA and lead the assessment, development, and strategic execution of the following :• A KM Culture• Actionable, organized content strategy and governance• Fit for-purpose KM technologies

This senior role will be expected to have ownership for the development, performance, and execution of IQVIA's knowledge management ecosystem. This role will report into the US Content Office to ensure maximum visibility and connection content, business needs, and strategic priorities. However, there will be additional accountability to and collaboration with Global and Enterprise teams to ensure scalability and sustainability.

Success in the role will be defined by the ability to drive IQVIA forward in its ability to integrate knowledge management as part of IQVIA's culture by ensuring employees have the appropriate communications, incentives & tools while adhering to business requirements/governance standards.

Essential Functions:

Responsible for the development, execution, and maintenance of IQVIA's KM roadmap: Create short and long term project plans to identify and prioritize scope, activities, and partners
Partner with the business to assess & develop business requirements for the KM system
Create, validate, and execute a plan that introduces and supports a "culture" of KM to IQVIA to facilitate change management, widespread adoption, and ongoing participation
Develop & employ KPIs to measure system activities, identify areas for improvement, and drive strategic and realistic growth
Establish & maintain KM governance program to ensure content is managed to business, legal, and ethical standards
Lead senior-level KM steering committee that acts to assess & evaluate current state and set objectives for future-state
Assess technology enablers and develop recommendation & requirements for technical system use
Engage with at-large business through marketing & HR to develop an annual KM communication plan & cadence

Partner with complementary functions such as sales excellence, sales enablement, IT, marketing operations, commercial operations, etc. to ensure a customer-centric, holistic approach.
Identify continuous improvement activities for KM investment including alignment with external benchmarks, employee feedback, and senior leadership direction
Create & measure agreed upon ROI metrics to establish value benchmarks for the organization; provide regular reports to senior management

Responsible for using US BU content, including thought leadership, sales and marketing materials, communication materials, HR materials, and others as a pilot and an example of system excellence.

The successful candidate will have spent at least the 10 most recent years in a leadership or management capacity working to drive knowledge management systems strategy & implementation at a consulting, healthcare services or technology organization - with emphasis on developing scalable and measurable cultural and governance strategies.
