Job Description
We're looking for a talented, curious Senior Copywriter to join the Brand & Experience team of our global (and growing) B2B tech company.
Reporting to our Creative Director, you'll work with a growing team of writers, experience designers, and Art Directors to create compelling, effective communications and content for our internal marketing and corporate teams.
You'll also help us refine and evolve our brand voice and tone, develop messaging across a huge spectrum of projects, own and shepherd assignments from beginning to end, and proactively contribute creative solutions to observed problems.
Most importantly, you'll bring a B2C mentality and sharp, conversational writing to our B2B tech space to help us creatively connect with our audience in more human and relatable ways.
Responsibilities:
- Write clear, compelling copy that engages our audiences and makes complex subjects feel simple and accessible across all channels
- Concept and drive the creation of multi-channel marketing campaigns that capture eyeballs and tell our story in unexpected and relevant ways
- Own and develop a consistent brand voice and tone, writing copy that's pithy, differentiated, and more memorable than traditional B2B tech fare
- Collaborate with teammates to continually elevate our brand and the quality of our creative
- Work directly with internal stakeholders across all levels of the organization to translate their needs and business goals into impactful and effective creative
- Research, understand, and stay on top of an always-evolving space and product
- Mentor junior creatives, and continually seek out opportunities to grow and improve your own skills
Qualifications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a proven ability to translate complex concepts and content into human speak
- Great ideas, a clear point of view, and the ability to express both
- 8+ years of creative experience (agency experience is a plus), and a strong portfolio of creative and copywriting work
- A borderline unhealthy attention to detail and devotion to consistent quality
- Ability to independently problem solve (but know when to ask for help or guidance)
- Ability to collaborate closely with creative teammates and internal stakeholders
- Ability to manage several projects in a fast-paced environment
- The curiosity to learn everything you can about things you don't understand
- Willingness to travel domestically or internationally (no more than once per quarter)
