Information is a powerful and essential element of the experience for our Enterprise customers. If that statement makes your eyes light up, you might be who we're looking for.
At Atlassian, we're committed to providing quality technical and procedural documentation to complement our engineering teams in keeping up with compliance requirements. Our mission is to create the required content that matters, and provide guidance for our largest customers so that they feel confident in the security, reliability, privacy, and compliance of our products and services.
This isn't a traditional technical writing role. As Senior Content Designer in the Trust Foundation team, you'll be empowered to experiment with a variety of approaches to performing documentation audits, creating plans, writing docs, and tracking our compliance documentation and supporting materials. We're also constantly working to find better ways to measure what makes an information experience successful. You'll be using these methods (perhaps suggesting new methods we've not thought of) to constantly challenge ourselves and improve our customer's experiences.
More about you
This job is for someone who thinks bigger than traditional compliance documentation. You have a knack for understanding requirements and being able to satisfy them effectively and efficiently. You understand what our customer's want and need, and know how to best provide that information within regulated and compliance frameworks.
We're looking for candidates who love to work with teams to ensure they're providing a great information experience. Someone who's ready to not only own the documentation requirements and creation, but also contribute to and help drive compliance projects that benefit the larger Trust community here at Atlassian.
When you join the team, you'd be expected to have:
- excellent technical writing skills
- content strategy skills
- a love for both technical and user content
- experience working with software regulation and compliance teams, product managers and designers
- great stakeholder management skills
- a proven track record of working in and managing documentation projects in an agile, fast-paced environment
And ideally, we'd hope you'd have:
- a knack for policy writing
- experience working on FedRAMP projects and audits
- an ability to challenge yourself and documentation teams
- experience in improving or building both information architectures and content strategies for documentation
- Bonus points: if you have experience working with project or program management tools, working with documentation for regulated industries, or using content testing tools.
