The RFP Content Specialist works alongside the RFP Team in the support of institutional clients of Northern Trust Asset Management. Position requires daily interaction with senior level partners across the firm to maintain and update investment and firmwide content that is used in RFPs, DDQs and 3rd party consultant databases. Updates are entered into a central database, Qvidian, and kept up-to-date on a regular schedule. Awareness and understanding of investment strategies is necessary.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

  • Ownership and oversight of all RFP content.
  • Point person and subject matter expert on Qvidian, an RFP proposal and content management system.
  • Communication with product specialists, investment strategists, and other subject matter experts (i.e. Legal, Compliance, Risk, HR, etc.) to review and update standard RFP questions and answers.
  • Collaboration with RFP writers to identify and add newly created responses to the database of approved content.
  • Work in tandem with the EMEA RFP team to maintain global content.
  • Support and assist internal partner areas including NTAM Sales and Servicing, the London RFP team, partners in EMEA, C&IS RFP team, and others as they arise.
  • Act as an additional resource for assistance on RFPs and DDQs. Support team members, helping them with any questions or concerns they have in the course of completing RFPs and RFIs or other items (i.e. DDQs, datasheets and similar documents).
  • Recommend enhancements to management for changes in processes or procedures based on inquiries received and the client's experience.

NECESSARY KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

  • 5-7 years of investment related experience with strong familiarity of asset management products and services.
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfort working with senior management and global teammates.
  • Ability to multitask and manage conflicting priorities and workflows.
  • Knowledge and familiarity of Qvidian.
