This role allows you to work from anywhere you choose across the U.S. (excluding U.S. territories), with the flexibility to work from the Seattle HQ office as often as you’d like. Please note that no matter where you are located, all employees should be available during our core working hours from 10 am to 4 pm PT Monday through Friday.

 

Your role and impact

We are looking for a self-starter who can produce clear and effective customized responses to formal proposals and client questions through consistent management of our RFP database and other content. You will not only be responsible for drafting, editing and sourcing responses that win business but also project managing responses to RFPs, RFIs and other client questionnaires from intake to submission. With a passion for Relentless Improvement and an eye for detail, you are always looking out for ways to make our answers more succinct, our content bank more accurate and the entire process more efficient as you gather and analyze input from subject matter experts across the organization. 

In addition to managing proposal responses and content accuracy, as time allows, you will also take on cross-functional projects as part of the Commercial Operations team. These projects will vary depending on your skills and interest and might include projects like supporting the go-to-market launch of a new feature or product, project managing an internal policy change across the organization or managing documentation updates.

Responsibilities

  • Lead our RFI/RFP end-to-end process, from evaluating the request to managing and driving the cross-functional response within customer-defined deadlines
  • Craft proposals based on the strategy and needs of the submitting enterprise while following company brand, style and writing guidelines
  • Collaborate with subject-matter experts across the organization to obtain appropriate content for RFPs and other prospect inquiries
  • Stay on top of healthcare industry trends and competitive landscape and use learnings to drive content edits and new content creation
  • Support subject-matter experts and Sales team members in persuasive writing and proposal best practices to produce winning content
  • Review and edit materials from across the Sales team before they are sent to clients to ensure accuracy and efficacy
  • Organize and maintain RFPio database and tags with product details and other content necessary for the timely, accurate and compelling completion of a response to an RFP
  • Collaborate with the Commercial Marketing team to maintain content accuracy, drive content enhancements and prioritize creation of novel content for the sales and account management teams
  • Identify process improvement opportunities to build for scale, including opportunities for automation and effective use of tools such as RFPio
  • Adapt to new opportunities and lead projects as business priorities shift and expand

Qualifications

  • 3+ years relevant experience in content writing and editing, marketing or proposal and/or RFP writing
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally and driving alignment with executive-level management
  • Outstanding and proven skills in decision making, critical thinking and problem solving
  • Ability to synthesize competitive and market intelligence information and incorporate learnings into response writing
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize work effectively
  • Ability to meet time-sensitive deadlines
  • Experience in/knowledge of the healthcare industry strongly preferred 
  • Experience using RFPio or similar proposal management software 
  • Previous project management experience
