The Opportunity

DAT is looking for an organized and efficient Project & Content Coordinator to join our award-winning Product Support team in Beaverton, OR.

This position is the cornerstone of facilitating best-in-class learning experiences for DAT employees, prospects and customers.  Through automation as well as self service and product support initiatives, you’ll make an impact by helping to reduce inbound support calls, while maintaining high levels of 24x7 support to DAT customers.

You’ll bridge communication between the Customer Support team and a range of other teams at DAT. Acting as a customer advocate, you’ll support the product development process, and help ensure that DAT products are intuitive for customers to use.

You’ll have the opportunity to build an infrastructure that accelerates the workflow between our product teams and the support organization by identifying support needs, writing training materials, assisting with user acceptance testing, and coordinating other associated activities.

  • Organized and efficient project coordinator.
  • Multifaceted contributor with a range of skills in product support, content and project management.

  • Strong team player who is also productive working independently.

What You’ll Do

  • Respond to stakeholder requests for changes and updates to customer and employee facing materials.
  • Work with team members to prioritize and plan new product launches.
  • Facilitate project planning, own the overall timeline, and assist with the workload.
  • Monitor employee and customer facing content for accuracy, make regular updates, and publish new materials as needed.
  • Regularly communicate with the support team, ensuring all are in the loop, and have the resources for maximum efficiency. 
  • Own the intake for all support requests by working closely with partners in Marketing, Support, Sales, Product, Digital, and IT.
  • Be the final eyes on all customer facing materials to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Develop project-specific tracking information and analyze results.
  • Work with the customer facing teams to create new processes and streamline workflows to maximize efficiency and output.
  • Develop proficiency in all DAT products to ensure teams are trained and understand the value proposition that leads to exceptional product training.
  • Keep the DAT leadership team apprised of progress, debriefing the team, while delegating and managing workloads and meeting deadlines.
  • Seek creative solutions to ensure our content scales by encouraging customer self service and automation.
  • Take all customer and employee questions as opportunities to update the knowledge base, with the goal of expanding the product knowledge of both.
  • Work with Internal Content, Product Support, Product, UX Content Strategy, and Product Marketing teams to align on content strategy, product launches, and processes.
  • Help develop the team's style guide and documentation templates.
  • Foster a data driven mindset, using metrics to drive content strategies that increase product knowledge and improve customer support.

The Skills and Experience You’ll Need

  • 5 + years of professional work experience in project management or knowledge management roles.
  • Strong project management and problem-solving skills; proven attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management capabilities. 
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment, and flexible when it comes to re-prioritizing tasks due to business demands.
  • Ability to work well both cross-functionally, and collaboratively as a team player, and as a self-starter. 
  • Strong facilitator to help others complete the task at hand and work together.
  • A proactive planner who isn’t afraid to ask probing questions for project clarity, anticipates potential roadblocks, and escalates project issues appropriately.
  • High school education or GED required; some college preferred.
