We’re looking for a highly organized, process-driven, food manufacturing professional to guide our production team through our next period of rapid growth. With a passion for people and an eye for continuous improvement, the Production Manager will be responsible for building and developing our production team and methods.

What You’ll Be Responsible For:

• People

• Coach and develop Supervisors, Assistant Supervisors and Leads
• Keep a close eye for new potential leaders on the floor and work with them to grow their careers at Farmer’s Fridge
• Work to maintain and improve facility morale and employee engagement

• Process

• Develop and communicate staffing plans and schedules
• Execute and train on new systems and processes
• Update and create Production SOPs
• Optimize throughout while improving labor metrics

• Follow Through

• Create and conduct audits of all areas of the production floor
• Review and troubleshoot labor costing and yield numbers
• Communicate cross-functionally with other facility managers and close feedback loop on open issues

What Your Background May Look Like:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred
• Proficiency in Word and Excel
• 5+ years in a food manufacturing environment - preferably fresh food
• Strong knowledge of OSHA safety standards and GMP/ Food Safety standards 
• The ability to operate in ambiguous situations and be flexible as the organization changes and grows – we are in a new place every quarter!
