The Product Content Specialist supports the overall ecommerce content objectives for the Columbia websites in the US and Canada. This person will develop deep product knowledge and oversee digital utilization of product and technology photography, videos, and badging. This role supports go-to-market planning with asset gap analyses, coordinating product sample needs, communicating asset usage guidelines, and identifying opportunities to better leverage content and boost product conversion.

Responsibilities

Maintains record of product and technology content utilization. Tracks delivery of new assets and communicates arrival timing, usage restrictions, expirations, and placement opportunities to relevant stakeholders.

Contributes to go-to-market planning by identifying styles featured in lifestyle imagery, key product differentiators to highlight, and any known gaps in asset availability compared to our buy, campaign launches, and product availability dates.

Coordinates product sample requests for editorial photo shoots and review seeding. Collaborates with internal partners to ensure delivery on-time and on-budget.

Strategically sources additional product content by leveraging user-generated content, securing influencer and publisher usage rights, and finding efficiencies through asset-sharing across channels.

Analyzes performance and determines the most effective placements for each type of content to maximize browse engagement and purchase funnel progression. Shares learnings and best practices across teams and marketplaces.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree, applicable certification or equivalent experience.

Requires 2-4 years of professional experience, and general proficiency with tools, systems, and procedures required to accomplish the job.

Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Project management (PMP) or content marketing certificate preferred.

Working analytics skills and experience with website analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics

Working experience with behavioral analytics tools like HotJar

Working knowledge of digital content management syst such as Adobe Experience Manager

Working experience with online marketing strategies and brand management

Working knowledge of JIRA or similar project management tool

Must be an online shopper familiar with best practices in eCommerce experiences

Must be extremely detail-oriented, highly organized, with a strong sense of urgency

Adaptable in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment with ability to manage multiple, competing priorities

Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate and coordinate tasks/projects with key stakeholders across the company

Highly proficient with technical tools and systems and all Microsoft Office applications
