Job Description:

Are you a great UX writer and strategic problem solver? If so, we have an exciting opportunity on our team! We're looking for a Content Strategist who understands the complexity of balancing savings, spending, and debt-someone who's excited to deliver financial education that empowers people to feel confident about their saving and spending plans. And, most importantly, someone who can write and position content in a way that's easy to understand and free of financial jargon. If this sounds like you, and you have experience working with digital designers, researchers, and business partners to create phenomenal online experiences, let's talk.

In this role, you will:

  • Work with the team to create, edit, and optimize existing content to improve engagement and drive product awareness
  • Make messy and complex things clear and actionable


  • Use research and data to understand and help solve customer problems
  • Serve as the voice of the customer, advocating for content-led experiences
  • Drive the content strategy, content creation, and standards that are essentialin helping customers complete transaction flows and make decisions
  • Collaborate with the content and marketing teams to review engagement data and make strategic decisions
  • Identify opportunities across the product where we can drive more consistency
  • Work with the marketing and design teams to communicate the value proposition to help customers decide if a managed account is right for them
  • Work with legal and executives to ensure content is compliant yet easy to understand
  • Be able to present ideas and pitches to leadership
  • Drive continuous process improvements


The skills and expertise you bring:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Knowledge of finances and advisory services a plus
  • 5 or more years in content strategy
  • Experience working with cross-functional, agile teams is preferred
  • Knowledge of accessibility best practices and how to create digital content for all audiences
  • Empathy and understanding
  • Ability to build credibility and trust with peers and executives and enjoy working in a complex organization with multiple decision-makers
  • A collaborative spirit to work with designers, researchers, developers, and other partners to write and test customer-focused content that's engaging while maintaining Fidelity's voice and tone
