The Webex Integrations Team is searching for a seasoned senior level technical writer to produce documentation for all Webex developer portal properties including APIs, Blogs, Guides and References and additional emerging products.
You will become a documentation expert and will partner with engineers and product managers on our team to create high quality content and help make continuous improvements to our tools and procedures appropriate for rapid prototyping and delivery. You will also build and maintain collaborative relationships and participate in regular sessions to measure performance and identify improvement opportunities and gaps.
Experience must include:

• A history of leading content creation for a wide array of media.
• Strong technical skills and expertise within the networking environment.
• Strong ability to write clearly and succinctly in a way that encourages users to want to use our product and then makes sure that they're able to do so easily.
• Experience in defining documentation strategy and leading a documentation project to a successful conclusion.
• Experience working in a continuous deployment and Agile environment where content needs to be updated regularly and rapidly.
• Experience creating structured and reusable content using DITA, XML, Markdown or HTML 5.
• Agility is part of your DNA and you thrive in a constantly changing stream of technologies. You excel in a team environment and have great communication skills. At the same time, you can work with minimal supervision to deliver consistent results.

Background must include

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering/Technology or Communications/Journalism
• Experience as a lead writer working within a larger content team
• Proven experience of creating Content Design/Architecture based on unique needs (and challenges) of different types of users
• At least 5 years of experience as a technical writer
• Outstanding ability to write clearly and succinctly in a way that encourages - users to want to use our product and then makes sure that they're able to do so easily.
• Experience working in a continuous deployment and Agile environment where content needs to be updated regularly and rapidly
• Experience with creating content that is optimized for search engine.

Preferred experience:

• Structured and reusable content using DITA, XML, or HTML 5
• Content development for both on-prem and cloud solutions
• Graphic-based content, including videos, animation, animated GIFs or high-quality static images
• UX copyediting, including desktop, mobile, and web User experience research, such as competitive analyses, direct customer feedback
• Solving customer issues using innovative approaches
