Our Opportunity:

Chewy is seeking a talented, passionate, and proactive Post-Production Producer to join our in-house video production studio located in Dania Beach, FL. You’ll be responsible for producing all projects assigned to the Post-Production team and forecast resources for the department. You will vet timelines and manage resources during the intake process and collaborate closely with the Post-Production Coordinators once projects have been kicked off. You’ll be relied upon to provide creative solutions to complicated problems and ensure that Post-Production consistently delivers content that exceeds strict quality standards on time. You must have the experience and enthusiasm necessary to jump in to a team that is responsible for supporting all business units, digital channels, and broadcast video editing needs for Chewy.

What You’ll Do:

  • Responsible for overseeing, forecasting, and resource managing all Video projects flowing through the Post-Production Teams in Dallas and Dania Beach, as well as collaborating with the Post-Production Coordinators throughout the lifecycle of projects
  • During the Studio Intake phase of projects, work with the other Studio Producers to vet the Post-lift, execution feasibility, and timing
  • Work directly with internal and external Creative Art Directors to fully understand creative direction on projects and work to ensure that the creative is being faithfully executed
  • Evaluate and present solutions to technical and logistical challenges on projects as needed
  • Serve as a key communicator between the Post-Production Department and internal & external Creative Teams, Production Teams, and Stakeholders, for all specific project-related matters
  • Utilize an advanced understanding of all stages of Post-Production (including but not limited to: Editorial, Audio, Color, and Graphics) to support in all stages of projects
  • Advise on changes and updates to Post-Production processes and workflows as needs are identified
  • Contribute to process documentation within the Post-Production Department as it relates to overall production and coordination of projects
  • Prepare for creative direction developments when asked, and pivot as appropriate in response to direction
  • Support and collaborate with Post-Production Subject-Matter Experts and Creative Art Directors to create strong content
  • Earn trust through active and nuanced communication with not only peers throughout the Studio teams, but also internal and external leaders

What You’ll Need:

  • 5+ Years of Production or Project Coordination experience in a Post-Production capacity
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Deep passion for everything Production & Post
  • Deep understanding of all aspects of Post-Production such as Editorial, Audio, Color, and Graphics, as well as overall video production workflows
  • Ability to receive and interpret creative feedback from internal and external clients to direct revisions and creative pivots
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Da Vinci Resolve, and Pro Tools
  • Thrive in an ever-developing, fast-paced environment - happy to be flexible and pivot on a dime!
  • Ability to act as a team player in a production team, who is ready and able to help come up with solutions to creative problems
  • Active listener with a strong ability to think critically
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management
  • A positive, can-do attitude
  • Available to work on weekends and evenings when needed
  • Denote travel expectation 5-10%
