The Copywriter is responsible for concepting, writing and editing various forms of online and offline marketing.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.
1. Work closely with account managers to ensure creative work produced is aligned with marketing needs of each project.
2. Write and edit persuasive and appropriate editorial content for direct-to-consumer websites, lightstream.com, social media, syndicated content distribution and email.
3. Concept, write and edit promotional copy for direct-to-consumer direct marketing and marketing communications, including collateral, landing pages, banner ads, point-of-sale materials.
4. Maintaining an intimate knowledge of latest disclosures for marketing materials.
5. Other writing and editing as necessary.

Required Qualifications:
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
1. Experience developing content/copywriting for online venues (both editorial and promotional copy)
2. Experience writing a wide range of tactics and styles from online content and articles, to direct marketing, social media advertorials and other print and point of sale collateral
3. Excellent writing and communications skills
4. Exceptional creativity
5. Strong analytical, problem solving, integrative thinking and creative thinking skills
6. Solid oral and written communication skills, solid organizational and project management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's Degree in relevant field , or equivalent education and related training or experience
2. Minimum 2 years of experience in similar roles, including experience writing for consumer audiences
3. Consumer lending and/or financial services experience
4. Some work with social media including Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn
