About the Role:
The Instructional Design & Content Manager will design course materials for our new hire onboarding and continuous learning programs. In collaboration with business partners and other leaders within the L&D team, this role will conceptualize, design and implement creative learning solutions to support organizational growth and goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and maintain course materials including instructor manuals, participant guides, eLearning, video, train the trainer materials, job aids, evaluations, tests, etc.
- Consult with business partners to design learning solutions based upon audience needs and task analysis, including recommended delivery method, curriculum content, and supporting materials to ensure mastery of learning objectives.
- Maintain positive cross-functional relationships to stay aligned to forecast learning needs and recommend learning solutions.
- Establish, implement, and maintain instructional design methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Conduct task/impact analysis using standard department techniques i.e., surveys, focus groups, interviews, etc.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training design through the creation of assessments, activities, and evaluations that gauge the mastery of learning objectives during and after training.
- Assist in managing our Learning Management System (LMS).
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years’ experience in instructional design and development, adult learning and technical writing.
- Demonstrated experience in Learning & Development, in a high-growth business environment.
- Expertise in designing and implementing a variety of learning programs, with skills in program design, curriculum development and partner resourcing.
- Experience with learning management systems, Talent experience a plus.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in education.
- Highly organized with focus on execution, problem solving, and improving processes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and ability to communicate effectively with senior leaders and employees across the organization.
- Ability to stay organized and adapt to balance multiple, changing priorities in a fast-paced or ambiguous environment.
- Working knowledge in instructional design software, such as Success Factors, Camtasia, Articulate, or Adobe Captivate.
- Ability to understand business needs and align team priorities accordingly, to develop of valuable, effective training strategies and solutions.
- Ability to leverage data to drive outcomes. Robust excel skills and analytical abilities.
- Proven project management skills - ability to balance multiple projects and maintain attention to details.
- Ability to form positive internal working relations cross-functionally, remotely and with internal customers.
- Understanding and acceptance of diversity, equity, inclusion and workplace belonging concepts.
- Interest in socially and environmentally responsible organizations and products.
The targeted budget for this position is $70-90k. This compensation budget range may be adjusted at any time at the discretion of the company.
