Purpose

The eCommerce Product Content Manager will be responsible for the development and execution of improving the consumer experience through online product content. Specifically, this position will focus on helping to identify, build and execute strategies that will inform, inspire and provide product formation online in a manner that improves conversion online or in store purchases. Responsibilities will include product launches, growing and managing product question and answer, assisting with the management of 3rd party vendors and building our connected content presence.

Minimum Eligibility Requirements

  • Five years or more of relevant merchandising and/or ecommerce experience required
  • Managing direct reports
  • Working knowledge of content management systems (CMS)
  • Advanced excel knowledge, Power BI experience preferred
  • Strong analytical skills required
  • Proven track record of building and managing processes
  • Proven problem-solving, project management and team building skills
  • Has exempt level experience involving various online merchandising positions
  • Experience managing cross-functional processes
  • Must possess excellent customer service skills and work well under pressure
  • Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment



Essential Job Functions

  • Ensure that all merchandising, marketing and promotional content deadlines are met and that tagging and set KPIs are met
  • Manages cross functional Product Q&A process as well as manages a growing Product Q&A team
  • Identifies content needs, execution and implementation based on internal and consumer input
  • Builds and manages video content strategy and manages the video product online
  • Manages and continues to develop overall online product content strategy
  • Assists in 3rd party vendor management
  • Manages brand and major product launches
  • Assist Production Team in writing requirements
  • Represents eCommerce in cross functional content creation
  • Reports weekly, troubleshoots and resolves any online issues or bottlenecks



Working Conditions (travel, environment)

  • Limited travel required including air and car travel
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to a warehouse environment and moving vehicles.
  • The noise level in the work environment is typically quiet.



Physical/Sensory Requirements

Sedentary Work - Ability to exert 10 - 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
