Your New Role...
- NBA Digital -- the group that handles newsgathering, editing and publishing for NBA.com and the NBA app -- is looking for a temporary digital editor/producer to work on the NBA news desk. This producer will help with editing and publishing written stories and content during the heart of the NBA season, from February through May. This role requires working late at night and on weekends, and can be handled remotely.
Your Role Accountabilities...
- --Edit and publish stories from the field
--Place stories and videos on NBA.com homepage and the NBA app home screen
--Edit photos for home screen, galleries, newsletters, etc ...
--Send push alerts and NBA TV Ticker updates
Qualifications & Experience...
- --Must have a strong command of the English language and be familiar with web publishing systems
--Ability to write and edit news stories
--Ability to write end edit headlines, video captions and other news text
--Strong knowledge of the NBA, its players, teams and traditions
--Ability to thrive in a 24/7 team environment
