Reporting to the Post-Production Supervisor, the Digital Asset Manager will be responsible for maintaining all media transfers, server operations and importing & exporting files and footage for crew and clients. They will work with the internal CreatorUp team to manage the company's digital workflow.
The Digital Asset Manager will support all internal and external productions to create cutting edge digital content with a focus on social impact as well as educational content and digital learning experiences that redefine audience engagement.
This role will collaborate with internal team members as well as external crew and clients to produce high impact content. Objectives

• Maintain the successful transfer of all projects from production to post production stages according to CreatorUp's standard operating procedures, while ensuring all best practices are met
• Working with the post production team, interview, hire, train and assign DIT roles for necessary projects
• Maintain the backup of all digital assets, both archival and active, to at least TWO separate digital locations (whether cloud-based or internally via server)
• Continually research and recommend any upgrades or new solutions that will better serve the post production needs of the company
• Collaborate with additional CreatorUp departments around the continued success of the internal and external facing platform and it's possible solutions

Responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact for producers and freelancers for all matters related to video footage/file uploads and downloads
• Manage transfers of files from hard drives to servers
• Arranges for hard drives to be available for all global productions
• Manage and maintain the digital workflow for all internal and external production processes
• Support in sourcing and hiring of post-production crews, including DIT roles
• Implement CreatorUp's best practices as training and assigning crew
• Act as CreatorUp's representative to outside partners and clients
• Responsible for maintaining positive working relationships with clients, freelancers and external vendors as needed
• As needed, post-production coordinator responsibilities, which may include:
  • Assist with the creation and management of all internal post production documents, including but not limited to: budgets, trackers, schedules, agendas
  • Review internal and external cuts on all projects, provide feedback as necessary, and assist in the transfer of information between stakeholders

Qualifications

• Multiple years experience as a post-production coordinator or DIT at a digital content studio or for a production/production company
• Extensive knowledge of the different types of asset management softwares and solutions
• Extensive knowledge of server-based solutions
• Knowledge of DIT responsibilities both on-set and away-from-set
• Knowledge of post-production editing software is preferred
• Successful candidate must have a positive attitude, be agile, detail and solution oriented
• Must be able to work as part of a team, stay well organized, and take initiative

Key Results

• Ensuring all projects are 100% backed up to at least two locations, whether digitally or internally via server
• Confirm all projects have the necessary resources when transitioning to and from the production stage (i.e. hard drives, cloud-based uploads, etc.)
• Maintain a consistent network of DIT services or professionals who can assist on necessary CreatorUp productions
• Provide at least one asset management service, upgrade, solution etc. recommendation that is fully researched and vetted to the post production team every quarter
