Our platform allows doctors, registered dietitians and other healthcare experts to prescribe Food as Medicine. This prescription, in the form of a consumer app, allows patients to conveniently choose, procure and enjoy the foods that are right for their clinical nutritional needs and which fit their lifestyle, household preferences and tastes - and finally realize the promised benefits of Food as Medicine.

About The Role
Season's Culinary Content Creator will be supporting our culinary-related product efforts to provide patients with delicious and exciting foods that meet their nutrition needs. You will apply your culinary expertise to assist in creating a vibrant culinary user experience and maintaining a robust recipe database for foods and recipes across a spectrum of health conditions and nutrition-related needs
In this role you will also be expected to contribute culinary-related content for marketing and education purposes, as well as assist on recipe photo shoots. This is an incredible opportunity to work across multiple teams, in a fast-paced environment, and work closely on an integral part of our customer-facing product.
The ideal candidate is someone who shares a passion for food-as-medicine, and can translate that enthusiasm into products and recipes that inspire home cooks of all skill levels and dietary conditions.
What You Will Do

  • Partner with clinical, product, marketing, design, and technology teams internally
    • Understand all needs across the company and prioritize culinary solutions to address them
    • Work across multiple teams to deliver written and visual culinary content as needed (photo shoots, recipe tips, blog posts, in-app education, etc.)
  • Monitor and maintain culinary excellence
    • Develop recipes to meet client needs (both clinical and preference based)
    • Adapt existing recipes to meet client needs while adhering to Season's brand guidelines
    • Assist with in-home recipe testing
    • Manage ingredient database to ensure consistency and clarity among Season's recipes
    • Cook and style recipes for photo shoots in collaboration with photographers


About You

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, culinary degree a plus but not required
  • Culinary media background preferred
  • 2+ years of experience as a recipe editor, or equivalent experience
  • 2-3+ years of experience as a recipe developer, creating and testing your own recipes as well as adapting existing recipes.
  • Experience working at a food and/or tech startup is a plus
  • Writing and media experience preferred
  • Knowledge of current nutrition trends
  • Eagerness to learn and discover new ideas, solve problems

  • Candidate should be organized and have the ability to prioritize and manage their own work flow
  • Comfort with ambiguity

  • Demonstrated ability to collect user feedback and understand customer pain points.
