Red Ventures is looking for a Junior Writer who will be responsible for contributing to and executing on strategy for credit cards content. This writer will be responsible for writing copy for a variety of digital placements such as sites, sub-domains, ad banners, and other types of evergreen content.  Content ranges in coverage from credit card usage, issuers, rewards, points and miles, and credit scores to advice, news and more. The right candidate is able to identify key messages, develop engaging content with a quick turnaround, as well as work closely with a variety of stakeholders to balance prioritizing the needs of the business and user. 

The team is global, so we are open to multiple locations including remote work.

What You'll Do:

• Research, write, and edit all types of high-performing credit cards-related content and microcopy for banners, guides, quizzes, comparisons, emails, etc. 
• Actively develop subject matter expertise by following competitors and monitoring industry news & trends
• Work closely with other teams (Design, SEO, business analysts, etc) to understand and execute content strategy

What We're Looking For:

• 1+ years writing/editing experience
• Personal finance experience or knowledge of credit cards preferred, if not a history of learning about difficult topics
• strong understanding of the principles of UX
• Experience working with data/translating data finds into their writing
• Passionate about content creation and have a track record of coming up with innovative approaches to complicated topics
• Experience creating content style guides, process, or documentation +
• Experience with digital products such as mobile apps +
• Experience with Excel, Figma, & Invision +
