Department

Moody's Global Communications & Brand Management team is responsible for all internal and external communications across Moody's Corporation, including Moody's Investors Service, Moody's Analytics and Moody's Shared Services. The department includes Internal Communications, Executive Visibility, Social and Creative Content, Corporate Media Relations, Business Unit Communications, Brand Strategy and Management, Corporate Marketing and Regional Communications for the Americas, EMEA and APAC. The team's focus is to deliver clear and consistent messages for internal and external stakeholders that builds awareness of Moody's contributions to global capital markets through its research, ratings and products.

Role/Responsibilities

This role has been newly crafted to provide creative spark in our growing Brand Management and Corporate Marketing team. As Creative Copywriter, you will play an instrumental role in simplifying our value proposition to our audience via multiple channels, with a strong focus on digital.

We are looking for a dynamic and data-driven self-starter with a passion for storytelling, a keen eye on writing eye catching headlines and on top of conversational trends.

You will collaborate with internal partners to bring our brand story, campaigns to life.

The ideal candidate will be a great teammate who has a strong sense of ownership, storytelling skills and is audience focused.

The role reports directly into Moody's SVP, Head of Social Media and Digital.

Key Responsibilities

  • Bring creative-thinking and copywriting to brand and marketing channels in an engaging manner (campaign, web, etc)
  • Craft engaging social media copy for Moody's social media properties
  • Adopt brand strategy, data, and metrics that demonstrate creative efficiency and advise communication insights
  • Ensure consistency with our Brand tone of voice across channels
  • Inject creativity into campaign planning, copy and ensuring consistency across assets
  • Collaborate with global partners to plan and deliver content
  • Develop brand messaging systems, adapting to needs across media



Qualifications

  • 4 to 6 years of experience in an advertising agency or in-house setting, concepting and writing copy for global brands
  • Social copy is second nature to you
  • Experience working on social first campaigns for brand or corporate marketing
  • Proficient in crafting writing in a simplified manner understood by audiences
  • Passionate and motivated by storytelling
  • Team-player who can work well in collaborative environment
  • Demonstrable experience creating concepts for campaigns; narrative and voiceover scripts for videos and animations would be an advantage
  • Ability to work EST time zone
