Copywriter III

We're looking for a talented, mid-level Copywriter to work closely with a Designer partner, as well as the Growth Marketing team and wider Creative Production team, to craft engaging, original and high-performing campaign assets for Credit Karma Growth verticals, Home & Insurance. As a member of the Creative Production Team and reporting directly to the Group Creative Director, you'll be part of a pioneering team helping Credit Karma members make smart financial decisions when it comes to their biggest assets: their home and their vehicle.
What you'll get to do:
- You'll concept campaign ideas that help scale the Home and Insurance business units and raise brand awareness in each category
- You'll develop highly-engaging copy for those campaigns, across a variety of channels including email, paid digital, paid social, landing pages, digital video and in-app surfaces such as stories
- You'll leverage our tone of voice, brand book and style guidelines in unique ways, while ensuring creative work is on brief, on brand and has a seamless member experience
- You'll get to work collaboratively with Growth Marketers, Creative Strategy and Production teams throughout the creative process
- You'll present creative work to your team, senior leaders and to broader audiences generating excitement around your work and being the creative voice in the room
What we are looking for:
- 4+ years experience as a Copywriter at a national brand or at marketing/advertising agencies
- Proven experience in digital copywriting, with a portfolio that demonstrates real work for national or global brands (please provide applicable passwords)
- Degree in English, Journalism or Communications
What we would like to see:
- A proactive communicator who's comfortable presenting your point of view in a candid, feedback-driven culture
- You love a brainstorm work session as much as diving into the details
- Ability to take feedback, work independently and edit own work to a high standard
- Excellent time management skills, with ability to prioritize multiple projects from concept to completion
- Experience with consumer finance, particularly in the home and auto space would be helpful
