As a Copywriter within PNC's CREATIVE SERVICES & MARKETING CENTER OF EXCELLENCE, you will be part of the in-house creative team which develops and implements integrated marketing campaigns across all lines of business and includes branding, sales support, video, social, digital, and other creative deliverables.
This is a remote position within one of the following markets: Pittsburgh, PA., Philadelphia, PA., Cleveland, OH, Downers Grove, IL, Birmingham, AL, Houston, TX. Surrounding markets may be considered. In-person activities may occur periodically based on business need.
Responsibilities• Responsible for brainstorming, creating, and transforming ideas into words for all digital and print channels. • Write clear and persuasive copy for websites, video, brochures, branch merchandising, ads, social media, sales collateral, white papers, thought leadership articles and all other marketing/communications collateral.• Research the technical properties of products.• Determine what makes products appealing to customers.• Develop unique, new concepts.• Work with art directors / designers to create compelling concepts.• Write clear and persuasive copy for websites, video, brochures, branch merchandising, ads, social media and all other marketing/communications collateral.• Revise and edit content as needed or directed by client.• Respond to feedback in a timely manner.• Ability to work under tight deadlines, multitask and comprehend a wide variety of complex subject matters• Check copy for spelling and grammar errors.• Self-motivated to stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies and the ability to teach others• Explore different ideas and concepts for both the visual and verbal elements in tandem with the creative team.• Knowledge of marketing fundamentals and an ability to implement them to create dynamic solutions• Entrepreneurial minded with an internal drive to continuously hit goals and succeed
In this position, you will collaborate with leaders across PNC's lines of business. This is an opportunity to learn about and help PNC engage with a wide range of audiences - from incoming college students and underserved communities to small, medium and large businesses, a variety of organizations and novice-to-institutional investors.
Job Description
- Creates creative content and writes original and compelling copy for marketing materials for creative executions and campaigns to ensure resonance in the messaging that will strengthen branding efforts.
- Executes established creative vision to align with strategic priorities for all lines of business.
- Writes original, compelling copy across multiple media (print, collateral, digital, video, email) for creative execution across all lines of business.
- Participates in close collaboration with graphic designers to ensure continuity of overall creative marketing materials.
- Collaborates with marketing specialists, proofreader and other internal partners on a regular basis.

Work Experience
Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree, with 2+ years of relevant professional experience. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education and experience (including military service) may be considered.
