The Flexe Operations/Logistics team is searching for a talented Learning Content Specialist who will build and execute a content strategy to ensure the Warehouse and client learning artifacts are current, high quality, and effective. This role reports to the Learning Manager and will initially focus on auditing and refreshing existing content and building a process to ensure all new software features, SOPs and learning materials are created. As a start-up Tech Logistics company, the Warehouse Management System (WMS) is at the cornerstone of everything we do, and we are building teams who will need to quickly come up to speed on how Flexe and the WMS work. This environment requires our Learning tools and programs to scale with the new teams at Flexe, to be agile, to evolve as our software functionality expands. You can help us build a world class library of digital learning content by bringing your vision and desire to build content and materials to quickly onboard new team members into the Flexe world. The ideal candidate enjoys simplifying the customer experience through great storytelling, delivering easy to understand, digestible content. You enjoy working to make a front line warehouse workers’ job easier and more fun. You will play a critical role in making our product documentation a competitive differentiator. You will own the creation and implementation of content strategy, define deliverables to support business operations objectives and review content needs on a regular basis to ensure we are delivering an outstanding customer experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Define a strategy for consistently creating and maintaining necessary learning related content, such as quarterly audits and prioritization roadmap
  • Review existing external/internal customer knowledge bases, update any/all documentation and artifacts
  • Create content for users to solve common problems
  • Analyze content for consistency and accuracy 
  • Drive content projects from planning through post-launch measurement
  • Evaluate and propose software solutions where applicable
  • Liaise with with Marketing to ensure brand alignment and consistent voice
  • Build an efficient process for conversion of technical feature specifications into end user facing learning content
  • Coordinate with other internal teams to integrate customer knowledge base with Flexe systems
  • Liaise with Instructional Design and Trainer resources on content projects

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience guiding and implementing complex content projects
  • 5+ years of experience creating and editing knowledge base content with a portfolio to demonstrate it
  • 2+ years of experience with HTML and XML
  • Ability to run a run a project from conception to completion, including scope definition, stakeholder and resource management, statusing, and metrics
  • Ability to create content that is easy to follow and effective in communicating key steps and how-tos

Bonus:

  • Experience as a content strategist or information architect
  • Experience developing and managing content for a multilingual audiences, translation
  • Experience with content management systems (DITA-based architecturepreferred) 
  • Experience with Adobe FrameMaker, easyDITA, Oxygen, XMetaL (or similar) 
  • Experience with chatbot systems
