The Content Operations Manager oversees the process and day to day workflow for content management/experience and localization efforts. They apply content management and analytic expertise to maximize content findability, relevance, accuracy, and usage for Pax8's internal and external audiences. The Manager is part technologist, part content expert, and part cross-functional collaborator. They will help define and implement cross functional planning and process creation for localization efforts. The Manager builds a framework that meets today's needs for content accessibility and localization, while serving tomorrow's needs for content repurposing, optimization, and redistribution to support Pax8's global expansion and growth.
They work directly with Enterprise Content Management (ECM) systems, Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems, and teams to establish integration points in support of Pax8's content distribution and maintain a localization governance model.
Essential Responsibilities:

  • Defines, implements, and communicates processes for global digital asset storage, tagging, version control, distribution, measurement, and archiving
  • Defines and deploys content localization processes that support business goals, customer experience, and internal and external stakeholder requirements
  • Manages content system operations and optimizes user experience and content discoverability, innovating on established features and structure to meet evolving organizational needs
  • Manages translation vendor and language service providers, optimizing technology usage and advising on innovations and investments
  • Identifies areas of opportunity and provides ongoing recommendations to improve global, regional, and country-level processes, content usage, and measurement
  • Collaborates with digital, web, and IT teams to improve internal automated workflows and technology integrations that support localization and content governance best practices (e.g., translation management systems, terminology management, web content management (WCM) systems, digital asset management systems, machine translation)


Ideal Skills, Experience, and Competencies:

  • At least 5 (five) years of proven content operations, content management, or project management experience
  • Subject matter expertise in Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems, content lifecycle management, and localization processes a plus
  • Exceptional planning and operational skills
  • Collaboration across departments displaying consensus-building skills
  • Talent for presenting plans and results to cross-functional and global team members
  • Ability to use content measurement tools to extract actionable data and conduct analysis
  • Exceptional communicator with keen listening skills
  • Drives process rigor and scale and expands processes to address strategic complexities
  • Flexible and able to shift strategies and tactics when required
  • Stays up-to-speed on relevant industry trends and innovations in content operations and content marketing


Required Education & Certifications:

  • B.A./B.S. in related field or equivalent work experience


Compensation:

  • Qualified candidates can expect a salary beginning at $105,000 or more depending on experience

*Note: Compensation is benchmarked on local Denver Metro area market rates. Qualified candidates in other locations can expect a salary package that may be adjusted based off applicable cost of wages in their respective location.
